I am currently exploring the Ada programming language and I was wonder how
do I incorporate graphics file or
a single image in a program? I do all my work under the Unix operating
system and sometime under Windows 98.

For Windows, either call the MS Windows API directly (a "thin
binding") or via a high level "thick binding". See the paper I
coauthored, or download the demo version of CLAW, from
www.rrsoftware.com for the latter approach. ftp to members.aol.com
and get /gmoran01/diners/src.exe
for a simple example using Windows icon graphics. For the "thin
binding", most PC Ada compilers come with, or will direct you to, one.
