The Co that I work for makes more $$$ if more problems are found. Thus, there is no incentive to improve time and quality. I wish fixed price contract is used instead variable price contract. In addition, if the contract is behind schedule, a penalty will be imposed in term of money subtracted from the original contract cost. This amount will be proportional to time behind schedule.
