I try to use ObjectAda / Tornado (vxWorks) on a PPC850 target system.
This processor type
doesn't have a floating point unit. Unfortuately the ObjectAda code
generator produces
code that adresses floating point registers when float types are used
and there is no compiler
switch for floating point emulation.
Has anybody already implemented a floating point emulation library,
which can be used instead
of Ada standard float types for that environment ?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance !
Marvin

Here is a link to a company called U.S. Software that sells floating
point libraries: http://www.ussw.com/products/GOFAST/
I have no experience with their products but I think Rational recommends
their libraries for users of non-floating point PPC8XX and 386EX
processors.
