I am trying to write a generic table lookup procedure in Ada83. Does
anyone have some good references for me? Thanks ahead of time.

There are a couple of generic table lookups in the program
TOD_Utilities

"generic table lookup" is a bit vague, but you might want to look at the
hashing routines in the GNAT library.
