We're trying to port several Ada83 applications to Oracle8 on a Unix
platform. With the advent of Oracle version 8, Oracle no longer
supports an Ada interface. Would appreciate any info an 3rd party
offerings in this area or any info period.

Thanks

There is probably two ways to proceed. Either use Intermetrics Samedl or
create your own bindings. The bindings should be easy if you use an Ada
95 compiler.

Oracle provides a product SQL*Module that can translate sql into
packages in Ada. We are using this to connect Oracle 8 to our Ada95
application.
