I am looking for a package that manages the communication between a PC
(Pentium 200, I 486) and a
remote machine through a serial line RS-232.
I found the implementation of an RS-232 communication package for Vax
and for R1000 in the PAL
library.
Does anybody know about the existence of such a package for Win95 on
PCs?

Win95 has an application called HyperTerminal
It's available from the 'Start' menu:
Programs->Accessories->HyperTerminal
This application can be used to set up an RS-232 serial connection.

IntegrAda/386 has an RS232 package in its AdaUser libraries. For more
information on IntegrAda you can visit our WEB Site at:

library is also available for Janus/Ada & Activada.
