Hi,
About a month ago I sent this newsgroup a message that I had put
the results of an object-oriented development and software metrics
survey on-line. Unfortunately at the time I didn't notice that I had
word wrap set to 70 chars which put the trailing 'tm' of the URL on
the following line. Since I'm still receiving a lot of error log
entries I'll post again with a correct URL. If you are interested in
the survey results then use the SMRL home page (URL is in my
signature) and look under 'Highlights of this site' at the bottom.
The survey will be the fourth item.
I've also had a number of messages from people unable to get
through to port 800 here because of firewalls. If this is the case
then please mail me and I'll send you the files. The server here is
undergoing some maintenance as well, just to add to the confusion, and
while this seems to be finished I couldn't guarantee that it will be
up continuously. If you have problems then either try again in a few
hours or email me for the file.
I'd like to thank everyone who has sent in constructive comments.
Hopefully I'll finish the paper soon and add that to the on-line
publications.

Cheers,
Andrew
