I have heard that there is a GNAT friendly gdb for OS/2 available. I
have searched the usual locations and have not located it. Anyone
know where (if) this exists? I have also heard that a port of the cbind
tool exists. Any help is appreciated

You can get the OS/2 version of C2Ada at http://www.pitt.edu/~tojst1/adaos2/
I don't know about a GNAT friendly gdb version.

Could you please post any information about gdb in this newsgroup?
Since I'm working on an integrated development environment for Ada
and OS/2, I'd be really interested in a newer version of gdb. One
of the things I'm working on is debugging directly from within EPM,
so it's possible to set breakpoints from the editor etc.

This is already possible using the last version of gdb for OS/2, but
when entering watches, the expressions still have to be in C style.

Hi,

As far as I know, there is no GNAT aware gdb version for OS/2.

How good are your porting skills ?

You can try to patch the emx-gdb source with the gnat-gdb patches.
I am expecting that you will have to resolve some coliding patches.
It is matter of how much time you are willing to spend on this (;-).

The emx-gdb source are available at :

ftp://ftp.uni-stuttgart.de/pub/systems/os2/emx-0.9b/gdbsrc1.zip
ftp://ftp.uni-stuttgart.de/pub/systems/os2/emx-0.9b/gdbsrc2.zip
or
ftp://ftp.leo.org/pub/comp/os/os2/devtools/emx+gcc/gdbsrc1.zip
ftp://ftp.leo.org/pub/comp/os/os2/devtools/emx+gcc/gdbsrc2.zip

or check hobbes.nmsu.edu

The gnat-gdb patches are available at :

ftp://helen.cs.berkeley.edu/pub/gdb/gdb-4.15.1.gnat.1.10-src.tar.gz

I currently don't have access to an OS/2 machine, therefore I am unable
to assist you.

Yours,
