This may seem like something elementary to some of you, but I have a
problem that I'm supposed to implement, and I'm having trouble coming up
with ideas on how to do it. I need to create 30-bit words, read in
types like integer, binary coded decimal, and 60-bit floats, and convert
them to 32-bit words, based on their types. I think I can figure out
how to make the type 15-bit (any suggestions are helpful though), but
how do I convert them to 32-bit (or 64-bit in the last case) words,
keeping the correct values? Any ideas are certainly appreciated.
Thank you,
Dave Hopkins
