Imagine the surprise at Federal Filings (fedfil.uucp) when they
discovered that Usenet um... personality Ted Holden was posting
from their machine on an unauthorized account. (Named "news",
no less, usually a privileged account, which would not be easily
recognized). For developments, check the "Wow, things are getting
really weird" thread on talk.origins, where Ted posts his bizarre
physical and astronomical theories (mainly Velikovsky). Holden is
known on comp.lang.ada for rants against the Ada language.

Ted has been McElwained for several days now, but apparently he
got back into fedfil this morning on an account named "#news".
This could have been a backup account he had, or maybe just the
result of a botched attempt to lock him out by changing the account
name. He seemed unaware fedfil had detected him. Repeating an
offense, when you have just gotten caught, seems a bit unwise.
