That's what Nortel supposedly spends on average, according to a
comment reported by Jack Ganssle in Embedded Systems Journal, June,
p46.  He presumes this refers to fielded bugs.

True or not?  Can't say regarding the particulars, but does anybody
doubt that bugs are getting more and more expensive, as more and more
software runs on more and more desktops and devices?

Managers, bean-counters, are you listening?
