We would be interested in receiving by e-mail (not public postings, please!)
realistic examples of floating point and fixed point calculations
implemented in Ada 83. We are investigating common real
arithmetic usage patterns, particularly with respect to multiple
precisions of floating point, multiple "deltas" for fixed point,
and the use of multiple distinct types vs. a one-size-fits-all
approach to numeric calculations.
Please send your code samples of Ada 83 fixed and floating point to:
stt@inmet.inmet.com
A short commentary on the purpose of the code would also
be helpful.
