It depends on what sort of beginner you are.
I have recently published a small (227 pages) book called
"Ada Essentials: Overview, Examples and Glossary."
This book would not be for you if you are a beginning programmer
but if you have experience with one or more other languages,
it may be just what you are looking for. See
