I use an X-server under Windows when I need to test Ada graphical stuff 
running under Linux. Otherwise putty SSH does all work.

I prefer rsync in order to have clean builds. Otherwise yes.

GNAT project file:

   gnatmake -Pbuild.gpr -XPlatform=...

does everything to me.
