Actually, from the NNTP logs here, it would appear it is being posted to
EVERY GROUP ON THE NET!  Yes, a few at a time.

Get out the flamethrowers folks; this one is going to be interesting.  I
would suggest aiming them at the postmaster and root@midway.uchicago.edu.

Oh, that's a brilliant suggestion, Karl, smiley or no.  By all means,
take down a machine serving eighteen thousand people because of one bozo,
and cause endless headaches for the systems staff here.  Thanks so much.

Interesting, of all the groups I've scanned through so far,
this group has the largest percentage of miffed users re-
garding the "DidYouKnow" post.

Anyone care to post a non-emotional, non-reactional 
analysis as to why this particular group has the 
highest number?


Don't waste keystrokes on the explanation that is not the correct
group to post that particular message in - that's quite obvious. 
(As 99.9% of the remaining groups were incorrect targets also.)


Why do you think c programmers mustered the largest objections?

For the record, I tried flaming both him, and his postmaster.  Bounced.
I tried to ping the site one up from him, and that bounced too.  I
would appreciate it if anyone could let me know where to flame these
guys, and also tell me how you do this kind of detective work.  I seem
to be seeing a lot more of these idiots lately.

I sent mail to root@ etc., and it didn't bounce.  I didn't get a reply, but
in another group their newsmistress responded that mr. B was "being dealt
with..."

The newsmistress also asked if people were willing to cripple a system 
supporting 18,000 users in this way, just for spite.  Grow up, people.
This is a sure way to kill the net -- surer than mr. B's approach.
