I was wondering how to convert a character
to an ascii value, or to a hexadecimal
or binary value.
Sincerely,
Catherine

Wonder no more. You use the 'pos attribute of the type
Character -- e.g to convert the letter 'A' to an integer
and assign the value to the integer varibale named C, you
would write C := Character'Pos ('A');
