Grady Booch said the following about his Web page, without using any capitals: 

i am seeking co-plaintiffs in a legal action i will commence this week
against [Net.Scum], seeking a cease and desist order against his
libelous postings.  such an action, if bought to consummation,, would be
a useful vehicle to nullify any future libelous activity, to provide a
legal instrument to point to future isps who might host such pages, and
to warn of impending criminal action were he to violate this order.

Grady then sent this very strange e-mail, disclaiming allegations that
aren't even here:

have written 5 books. One of these books is in its third edition, and another
is in its second edition. None of these books were ghost written. On the third
edition of my first book, I engaged a co-author who did most of the revision
(and he was acknowledged as such in the book). On my fifth book, I engaged an
editor who assembled the articles I had written. Additionally, you state that
"Most of his 'paid' columns are written by others..." This statement is also
false. I have written well over 100 technical articles, and not a single one of
them with my by line was written by anyone else.

Also per the disclaimer in http://www.mindspring.com/~netscum/wellerd0.html, I
am obligated to advise you of information that is incorrect. Specifically, you
state that "It has been published that Weller performs upside down fellatio on
Grady Booch on video" in effect accusing me of a homosexual act. No such
information has been published, nor could it, for the event described simply
did not occur.

I ask that you correct these errors of fact immediately; if you do not, then I
must consider the contents of your pages to be libelous, and hence I shall
continue with appropriate legal action.

Through this email, I am also advising your service provider of the existence
of this libelous material. Please be clear that I am not asking them to censor
you; rather, I am obligated to advise them of the presence of this libelous
material, and that I will proceed with appropriate legal action if you do not
remove or correct this libelous material immediately

I expect a reply before the close of business on Friday, 1 November.
