Actually, there is nothing that prevents anyone from making gnat a
shrinkrapped product and selling it as well as providing 800/900 
telephone support.  My understanding of the copyleft agreement is
that you must also provide access to the source.  It was also my
impression that Robert Dewer hoped to try to build a buisness out
of the support of gnat.
