Someone from Intel may wish to comment, but the 432 did not give birth to
the i386.  To the best of my knowledge it was shelved until such time as 
reduced implementation geometries allowed successful repackaging -> this
repackaging is currently known as the Intel's i960 product family.  It is
used in alot of products like laser printers....
