Hello, my name is Austin Goodan and I am working on an Air Force Project that i
s 
required to convert all or some of the projects developed software to Ada.  I 
have been tasked to develop a Ada insertion study outlining different conversio
n 
methods and the required resources (time, personnel and $) associated with each
.  
I am looking for data on programmers productivity, cost per LOC converted, and 
any other pertinent information available.  I would also like to get opinions 
about different conversion process/methods, e.g. conversion without reverse 
engineering vs. conversion with reverse engineering vs. conversion with reverse
 
engineering and re-engineering, software that converts software, and any other 
method however imaginative.

I would also be interested in stories about good ideas turned bad or visa versa
, 
and any other conversion war story.  Also, I would be interested in the names 
and Internet addresses of others who may be able to provide additional 
information.
