I have been asked to recommend a software development environment for
a moderate-sized Ada effort (approximately 12 developers). It should
include requirements traceability, configuration management, CASE, and
all the typical code development tools (compiler, editor, linker,
debugger, etc.). Project management tools would be very useful:
scheduling packages, costing tools, spreadsheets, and publishing
software.

Should we use Ultrix or Open-VMS? The decision's not set yet.

I'd like to know what's available for the Alpha and what experience
people have had with Ada on the Alpha.

Please respond by e-mail and I will summarize for the group.

Thanks,

Dick Dye
