Given that the Motorola 88k family has been around as long as RISC,
why are the only validated Ada compilers for this family 2 in number?
According to AJPO's Jan. 1, 1993, list, only Verdix and Aitech had
validated compilers (and Meridian for a specific OS platform). Other
vendors have RISC compilers on other platforms, but vendors like
Alsys, SD-Scion, Tartan, and Telesoft seem to be missing from this
arena. How new is the Motorola MVME bare board for the 88k?
