I need an Ada test coverage tool to collect statistics during
testing and report such things as code paths not tested, frequency
of path execution, etc; nothing fancy but this capability would
reduce some of the administrative overhead during unit testing. I am
told there is a tool called tcov which does something similar for
the Unix world - does anyone know of an Ada equivalent ?

Thanks, John Jameson.

Sigh...

This will sound like a very parochial answer to your query,
but have you looked at the DECset tool suite? There is a product that
exceeds your need. It is called "pcaa" and is a performance coverage
analyzer that will report both code path coverage and lines of code
coverage. If interested look in your local telephone book for
Digital Equipment Corporation. If you don't have a sales office contact
me directly via email at my email address.

Aloha,
	Richard
