Subject: Selected Ada Cross Compilers for SPARC host
Date: 23 Aug 93 14:54:50 GMT [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1993Aug23.145450.12194@mksol.dseg.ti.com> (raw)
As I posted earlier, I would post my results. Thanks to all who helped out!
Here's the list of Processors I was interested in and the Vendors that provide
compilers for the Sun SPARC host:
Processor Vendor(s) Identified
----------- ---------------------------------------------
TMS320C30 Tartan
TMS320C31 Tartan
TMS320C40 Tartan
TMS320C60 (not in production yet)
i80286 Alsys
i80386 Verdix, Alsys, DDC-I
i80486 Verdix, Alsys, DDC-I
68020 Alsys, Tartan, Alsys(Telesoft), DDC-I, Verdix
68030 Alsys, Tartan, Alsys(Telesoft), DDC-I,
Multiprocessor Toolsmiths, Verdix
68040 Alsys, Tartan, Alsys(Telesoft), DDC-I, Verdix
SPARC Irvine Compiler, Alsys(Meridian/Telesoft), Verdix,
DDC-I, Multiprocessor Toolsmiths, Sun(Verdix)
1750A Tartan, TLD Systems, Alsys(Telesoft)
i860 Multiprocessor Toolsmiths
MIPS-R3000 Verdix, Alsys(Telesoft), DCC-I(soon)
MIPS-R4000
AMD2903 (Possibly DDC-I, they have a AMD2900)
88K
683xx Verdix, Alsys, Tartan
i960 Tartan, TLD Systems, Irvine Compiler,
Alsys(Telesoft)
A couple of these compilers will finish validation this fall, so they are
currently not on the Validated Compiler List.
I mis-read the Wind River literature. They provide run-times for other vendors
.
Thanks again!
