Sterling Software is looking for the right individual to fill a Senior
Software Desgin Engineering position at our Bellevue, Nebraska facility.


     o  Experience Required
        -  10 years software engineering
        -   5 years Ada programming
        -   3 years object oriented design, documentation, and implementation
        -   5 years in lead engineering position with responsibility for
             overall requirements analysis and design specification of 
             large software development efforts

     o  Skills Required
        -   Excellent verbal communication ability with both technical
            and non-technical personnel
        -   Able to interact and deal effectively with a diverse group
            of personalities
        -   Excellent technical writing ability

     o  Education Required
        -  BS/BA in one of the following disciplines:  Computer Science,
           Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software
           Engineering, Math

     o  Other Preferred but Not Required Education/Experience/Skills
        -  Member of a Software Engineering Process Improvement Group
        -  Instructor for in-house training programs
        -  Development of Embedded Ada Systems
        -  Masters Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering
        -  Writing documents following 2167A
        -  Top Secret Security Clearance
        -  Excellent knowledge of VMS, UNIX, C
        -  Working knowledge of Data Communications concepts and protocols

     o  Must be willing to live in Omaha, Nebraska area
