			    presents

	Adventures in 2167A, Ada, and Embedded Systems
		by Jerry M. Casey of Control Data

		Monday, September 16, 7:00-8:45
	    at the Augsburg Park Library, Richfield

The September meeting will be presented by Mr. Jerry Casey 
on the subject of real life experiences of developing Ada 
software for a real-time, embedded target under the shadow 
of DOD-STD-2167A.  Mr. Casey is a software engineer working 
on Control Data's subcontract for AWACS Radar System Improvement 
Program (RSIP).  Control Data is suppling a multi-processor radar 
data computer, a real-time operating system, diagnostic software, 
and other support software.  Mr. Casey has been involved with the 
program from software requirements development through testing 
and integration and will share his insights and hindsights of 
what works and what does not work.


The Augsburg Park Library is located at 7100 Nicollet Avenue
in Richfield.  To reach it, take the Nicollet Avenue exit from
I494 and drive north from 78th to 71st.  Or take the 60th street
exit from I35W South, go west (right) to Nicollet, and south (left)
to 71st.  The Library is on the west side of Nicollet.
