I am a graduate student, doing research into PC based control
applications, implemented over an ARCNET LAN running NOVELLS
NETWARE 2.15. The communications protocol I am using to
communicate between PC's is Netbios, and we have the Novell
Network BIOS Emulator V3.01 Rev. A. I have really battled to get
documentation on the Emulator (running under MS-DOS) even from the
Novell Source in this country and would be grateful if anyone
could help with this.
My object is to create a flexible, reconfigurable
environment, written in Ada, which will allow the nodes in the
system to remove themselves, or to allow another node to add
itself to the system, on line. I am very interested in
corresponding with anyone working on PC based control systems,
and will summarise to the net if I get a response.
Please reply over email.
