Raising the light-hearted side of these discussions:

Ada is like a vegetable, such as broccoli.  You may not like it, but its
good for you.  Lots of iron and vitamins.

C is like beans.  It goes down easy, but then you get heartburn and
other side effects.

BASIC is junk food.  Lots of calories and fun to eat, but watch out.

Any other contributions?

Disclaimer:  Ada is my favorite language, so no flames please.
