I'm new to news, so I don't know if this query has been made before.

I am looking for information regarding Ada vs. non-Ada performance in all areas
including, compile-time stats, execution-time stats, life-cycle improvement,
error rate reduction, lines of code per programmer day, etc. Any hard figures
have been VERY difficult to come by. I am hearing some Ada fanatics say "Ada
must be better!", but this doesn't convince management to use it. The best
that I have found is an article in DEFENSE COMPUTING titled, "Improving
Programmer Productivity with Ada" (May-June 1990).

Also, I am looking for stats on how CASE tools help in enhancing productivity.
My only information from there is from an independent report by Reifer
Consultants, Inc. in the Proceedings of Tri-Ada '89.

Thanking You in advance,

Eric Schallenmuller
