I'm about to take a CS class, and I'm thinking of doing the
programming in Ada or C. I've taken a class in Ada, and done some
work with C, but in both cases I hated the books. Anyone know of
a readable, informative book in Ada or C? Any books I ought to avoid?
Reply to mblakele@jarthur.claremont.edu, or post and we'll
have a net discussion.

I recommend "Rendezvous with Ada" by David Naiditch, pub. Wiley,
ISBN 0-471-61654-0. It covers Ada well and does it with humor
(a rare commodity these days).
