I use the Telesoft Ada compiler on Sun workstations, and the
Ready Systems RTX cross compiler version, every day. I also
use the Meridian Prof, Developers Pack on my Macs. I can't
help but be a little dissapointed in both of 'em.

The Telesoft compiler, while nice, often gives the wierdest
compiler error messages you would blieve possible; the Meridian
compiler on the Mac is, well..... Let me just give you an example.
The sample programs that come with it start off with about a
page and half of unchecked coversions. Most depressing.

Why do Ada compilers have little "messes" in then like these?
Is there some reason, or are Ada compilers just so young that
it is inevitable?
