How can I obtain a copy of the (proposed) ANSI standard for the Ada language
binding for GKS, in any form, but preferably machine readable.

Copies of the proposed GKS/Ada Binding should now be available through the
American National Standards Institute, 1430 Broadway, New York, NY 10018 or
call (212) 354-3300.

We also have an older version of GKS in Ada in the Ada Software Repository
and are holding a newer version pending the upgrade of the disks on SIMTEL20
(which is supposed to happen in October). We are holding a lot of software
pending this upgrade, but a few small items will trickle in today (there were
already on SIMTEL20 and their review has been completed now).

Some cartography students here are taking a course where they would find it
useful to use Ada and GKS on PCs (although they can use it on a VAX/VMS
system in a pinch). They asked me to forward to them any useful information
I can get on the net on this topic.
