I am looking for any reports on projects that have been
done which demonstrate Ada portability. Our resident
skeptics would like to see evidence that Ada programs
compiled for two different instruction set architectures
really produce the same output results. Any information
or pointers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My new book on the ASR has a very short chapter on transportability,
and there are references scattered in the book about how to find out more
information. I'm not aware of any formal studies, but something of interest
may come out in the software reusability panel at COMPCON in Feb. Transportability
is a subject I intend to raise there.
