Hi - this very useful lightweight package from Rolf Ebert is on
SourceForge for a while but was not advertised here yet.

Config is a package for parsing configuration files
(.ini, .inf, .cfg, ...) and retrieving keys of various types. New
values for single keys can be set. Standalone and unconditionally
portable code.
