The idea is different. Shops * Programmers >= 5, Shops <= 3,
are interested in an Ada compiler for Windows and Linux.
These prospective customers confirm they won't be bothering
the vendor with questions (just like with MS or with a no-support
use of Python or Java). "To bother" is typically defined
in a conversation between a vendor and a customer.
Representatives of Vendor, and Shops * Programmers put their
names on a contract.
One clause might read something like, "Customer names
One (1) Representative who might ask a question a month.
Vendor will try to answer at Vendor's discretion."
This would be a more than you get from MS, for example.
For a maker of said compilers, it must be reasonable to
sell copies of their product. So
type Customer is limited private;
must have a reasonable interface and hence includes
function Trust(ID: Customer) return Positive;
-- or else no deal
Not that unusual, I'd say, and hence worth a try. You need
to find Shops run by trustworthy personnel.
