XD Ada implements Ada 83 per the standard.

Not sure how the prior answers really provide any insight into the last 
question.

If you remove "thus" from the last question I would the problems are

1) It runs on a VAX.
2) It is often used on very small processors and thus even though you 
get full Ada, you might not be able to use it.
3) It generally targets really old processors that would be underpowered
even for a microcontroller by todays standards.
4) There are likely other factors (assembly language, runtime, 
non-portable code, etc that will dominate any problems you run into)
