The ACM's SigAda Ada Runtime Environments Working Group (ARTEWG)
is studying the problems of Ada task scheduling in real-time
applications.

We are interested in the requirements of real-time systems, and in
the scheduling approaches and techniques used to meet those
requirements. We are especially interested in scheduling techniques
beyond Ada's standard priority-based aperiodic preemptive scheduling,
such as the use of cyclic executives, the Rate Monotonic Scheduling
algorithm, and so on.

Please email brief contributions to jonesb@ajpo.sei.cmu.edu. Direct
replies to this article will also be collected, although email is
preferred to reduce net traffic. Thank you!
