This is precisely the sort of thing:
A = B + C
which made FORTRAN so popular. The programmer couldn't invent
his/her own operators of course, but it was a big improvement over:
LD B
ADD C
STO A
for readability. In the same way, use of the + operator can
make a program more readable, not less.
