Hi Errol,
The file ftp://ftp.canberra.edu.au/pub/ise/adaide/a25win31.zip is not a zip

Clearly, something went wrong in posting this file to the FTP site.

The file ftp://ftp.canberra.edu.au/pub/ise/adaide/a25win95.zip contains a
directory structure incompatible with the setup utility. I.E., Steup.exe
is expecting all of the files to be in the same directory with it, instead
of in multiple directories. The problem is remedied by moving the files
from the disk2 directory to the disk1 directory, then executing setup.exe.
Did you actually try to install in a "virgin" machine (i.e., one which has
no trace of adaide on it), by unzipping the file you posted, then executing
setup.exe?

After successfully installing the Win95 version, I executed it from within
my gnat304a DOS window in which \gnat304a\setpath.bat has been run -- i.e.,
the window from which I can successfully compile, bind, link, gnatmake, or
whatever. I found that the environment variables visible in the gnat304a
DOS window are not present in the DOS window created by executing
@gnatada.bat, so all of those commands return with a "Bad command or
filename" message.

I tried using the "command Line" options to execute setpath.bat from within
the @gnatada.bat window, but found that the option is not really a "Command
Line" option, but, rather, an "Additional Command Line Parameters" option.

In short, I cannot get the IDE to execute any gnat commands, so clearly I
must be doing something wrong. Please tell me what it is.
