Three reasons come immediately to mind:
   1) Ken is a regular participant on c.l.a.
   2) Safety-critical systems are of general interest on c.l.a (no 
matter what language they are coded in).
   3) Because Ken is looking for information that someone reading c.l.a 
might have.
