Position Code - 09527

Design and implement software applications in a higher order language
and participate in a  software independent Verification and Validation
team.  Software applications include automatic test equipment, large
scale database, operator interfaces, communication interfaces, and
embedded software.  Utilize programming languages such as Ada,
FORTRAN, Atlas, PASCAL, or a DBMS specific language.  Required to
select and use CASE tools during the design and implementation
process. Requires a BS degree in computer science or electrical
engineering with an MS degree preferred and five years experience
designing/developing software systems.  Must have an understanding
of software design engineering principles and familiarity with various
design paradigms.  Experience with ORACLE is desired and familiarity
with DEC VAX operating system, DEC VAX application programs,
DOS/Windows operating system, and DOS/Windows applications is
required.  Must be a US citizen and be eligible to obtain a DOD security
clearance.  Note:  Work assignment is in Warner Robins, Georgia.
