Software Engineers
Logicon Defense Technology Group, a high-tech research and
engineering firm, has challenging entry-level and technical
leadership opportunities for software engineers in our
Orlando, FL location. You will support the development of
the next generation combat training simulation system,
WARSIM 2000. This includes designing systems which simulate
command and control behavior in commanders and staff, and
developing environmental models to include weather,
nuclear/biological/chemical, electromagnetic, and terrain
representation.
Qualified applicants should have BS in Engineering, Computer
Science or other technical discipline (MS preferred) and
experience with Ada and UNIX. Object-oriented design and
development techniques are a plus. Senior level positions
require experience with artificial intelligence software
development and proven leadership abilities. Software
support interfaces include Distributed Interactive System
(DIS), Aggregate Level Simulation Protocol (ALSP), and High
Level Architecture (HLA).
Applicants will be subject to a Government security
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for

Strange, I thought HLA was a DoD-funded, multi-million-dollar C++

Wait a sec - you mean all this Ada95 I've been writing has to go?
The horror!
Although it will be a lot nicer when I don't have to bind to C++ to do
the ORB stuff (they tell me that's coming Real Soon Now)....
