I have been asked to gather information on the existence and availability
of generated front-end parsers for Ada to be used as one of the tool
fragments in a developing Ada toolset at the University of Maryland.
We need a generatable parser (which need not be written in nor produce
Ada) so that actions and instrumentaton can be added easily.
I'm sure this has been solved somewhere, so I would appreciate pointers
or help from anyone. My guess is that there are plenty of company-
proprietary products like this (which we would still be interested in
hearing about even if there is no chance of using/buying them) but there
must also be govt. contracts which have worked this as well, right?
I will post a summary of responses that come directly to me.
