Jim Showalter asked one to 'define' large.

This is a good point.

Large is in the eye of the beholder.

In addition, source lines of code (SLOC) is not always a good metric for
determining the complexity of a project.  More lines of code generally means
more complexity for the same programmers.  But to compare lines of code across
different groups doesn't really mean anything because different programmers can
write programs with radically different SLOC counts.
