Personally I'd agree that it would make no sense to use the GMGPL for a "customer release" under this scenario. In fact, that was what I was trying to point out. I suppose they could refuse to do business with anyone who just turns around and redistributes it. But if they are going to do that, why pretend to give them that right in the license?
