Annex for GNAT) Date: 1996/07/15 Message-ID: #1/1 X-Deja-AN: 168515042 sender: comar@schonberg.cs.nyu.edu organization: Ada CoreTechnologies newsgroups: comp.lang.ada Date: 1996-07-15T00:00:00+00:00 List-Id: Ada Core Technologies, ACT-Europe and the DSA Development team at ENST (composed of Yvon Kermarrec, Laurent Nana, Laurent Pautet and Samuel Tardieu) are happy to announce the first public release of DSA (*), the Ada 95 Distributed Systems Annex implementation for GNAT. DSA is an environment for developing distributed applications based on Annex E of the Ada 95 Reference Manual. This environment comprises: - a complete PCS (Partition Communication System) - a compiler for a simple partition description language - utilities to build and start distributed applications This first release works with GNAT 3.05 on Sparc/Solaris and PC/Linux. This release also works on Sparc/SunOS although less efficiently. Versions for DEC/OSF, HP/HP-UX, Windows NT and SGI/Irix will be available in the near future. Commercial support for DSA will be available from Ada Core Technologies and ACT-Europe. Contact support@gnat.com or support@act-europe.gnat.com for further details. DSA can be downloaded by anonymous ftp from cs.nyu.edu (pub/gnat/dsa/dsa-1.0.tar.gz) and the usual GNAT mirror sites around the world.
