You are cordially invited to the **************************************************************** Student Research Forum at PLDI '97 ACM SIGPLAN Conference on Programming Language Design and Implementation Monday, June 16, 1997, 7:30-9:30pm The Student Research Forum is a two hour evening event during PLDI'97. It provides an opportunity for graduate students attending the conference to present their research informally to small groups via poster presentations. Conference attendees, including non-students, will be able to wander among the student-presenters, hear their brief presentations and discuss their research. Refreshments will be provided. Students who wish to present a poster display of their research must send the following information to both co-chairs via email by April 25, 1997: 1. a title and 500 word abstract of their proposed presentation 2. their email address, phone number and surface mail address 3. name of their department and school For each student applying, their faculty research advisor must send to both co-chairs via email by May 2, 1997: 4. a short email note of support for the student. Selected participants will be notified by May 8, 1997. Each selected student will be provided with a 3' by 4' easel for their presentation.
