I wanted to do that at some point for a project. Everything is almost there with Ada95. You can stream an object, the only problem is the TAG that will get written in binary format (the tag string and the bounds). I have opened an AI for that. Have a look at AI-00260. http://www.ada-auth.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/AIs/AI-00260.TXT?rev=1.9 Status: ARG Approved 7-0-0 02-02-11 I was happy to find that it is approved :) Pascal. -- --|------------------------------------------------------ --| Pascal Obry Team-Ada Member --| 45, rue Gabriel Peri - 78114 Magny Les Hameaux FRANCE --|------------------------------------------------------ --| http://perso.wanadoo.fr/pascal.obry --| --| "The best way to travel is by means of imagination"
