Pat (the editor of ACM SigAda newsletter) said _he_ couldn't handle LaTeX, meaning he cannot accept submissions in LaTeX format. I'm suggesting that if authors want to use LaTeX, that's no problem; they just generate PDF from it, and send the PDF to Pat. I thought you were asking Pat why _he_ couldn't handle LaTeX. I think it is unreasonable to ask an editor to accept LaTeX. -- -- Stephe
