I am specifically referring to the ability to output an executable that does not rely on any underlying OS. If put in embedded terms: To run a GNAT compiled program from EPROM and nothing else. No Disk, LAN, etc ... All I am saying is that *surely* this is possible on a PC platform and supported in the GNATPro version is it not? And, that I am pleased enough with the free GNAT version, that if this were a serious project, I would look into buying their pro product. JR
